Train where the healing arts meet the wild beauty of Alaska.
New Seasons School of Massage offers a 625-hour Massage Therapy Diploma program designed to prepare you for licensure in Alaska — taught locally by experienced practitioners in Soldotna.
A local massage school built for Alaskan students.
Owned and operated by Josh and Kara Hawley — longtime Soldotna practitioners with more than 30 combined years in the field — New Seasons School of Massage was founded to address the shortage of licensed massage therapists on the Kenai Peninsula.
With small class sizes, personal instruction, and a working student clinic open to the community, we focus on preparing graduates for real careers in clinical, medical, spa, sports, and relaxation massage right here in Alaska.

Why Choose Massage Therapy
Massage therapy continues to grow as more people recognize its benefits for pain relief, stress management, injury recovery, athletic performance, and overall wellness. Physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and healthcare providers increasingly recommend massage therapy as part of comprehensive patient care.
For many therapists, the profession also offers something increasingly rare—a career that provides both financial opportunity and meaningful personal connection. Every client presents a unique challenge, and every treatment has the potential to improve someone's quality of life.
Massage therapy also provides flexibility. Many therapists enjoy creating schedules that fit their lifestyle, working in established clinics, luxury spas, medical offices, athletic facilities, or building successful private practices of their own.
Career Opportunities After Graduation
Massage therapists enjoy a wide variety of career paths.
Graduates may pursue opportunities in:
Day spas and destination resorts
Chiropractic and rehabilitation clinics
Medical offices
Physical therapy practices
Sports and athletic facilities
Wellness centers
Independent contractor positions
Mobile massage practices
Private practice ownership
As experience grows, many therapists choose to specialize in areas such as sports massage, orthopedic massage, prenatal massage, medical massage, or other advanced therapeutic techniques.

A Hybrid Massage Program Designed for Convenience and Success
Going back to school doesn't have to mean putting the rest of your life on hold. At New Seasons School of Massage, we've designed our hybrid Massage Therapy Program to give students the flexibility they need while preserving the hands-on instruction that is essential to becoming a skilled massage therapist.
Our hybrid approach combines online academic coursework with live, in-person classroom instruction and supervised hands-on training. You'll study subjects like anatomy, physiology, theory, and professional concepts through an engaging online learning environment, then bring that knowledge into the classroom where you'll develop the practical skills every massage therapist needs.
Because massage therapy is a hands-on profession, there is no substitute for learning directly from experienced instructors. You'll receive personalized coaching, immediate feedback, and extensive practice in a supportive learning environment as you build confidence working with classmates and, later, real clients in our student clinic.
For many students, hybrid learning offers the best of both worlds. It provides greater flexibility for balancing work, family, and other responsibilities while maintaining the high standards of education and personal mentorship that define New Seasons School of Massage.
Whether you're beginning your first career, changing professions, or returning to school after years away from the classroom, our hybrid program was built with today's adult learner in mind.
Experience a modern approach to massage therapy education that prepares you for success in Alaska's growing wellness community.
Real clients. Supervised practice. Service to the community.
Our student clinic gives every student real-world experience working with members of the Kenai Peninsula community — at an affordable rate that makes professional massage accessible across our region.
